Irina Tsyganova, DPM
Irina Tsyganova, DPM is the Founder of Foot and Ankle Center, where she has been in practice since 2008. Before devoting her work to podiatry, Dr. Irina was a medical doctor in Russia practicing Radiation Oncology. She emigrated from Russia to the United States in 1992, and moved to Atlantic County. After earning a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University (formerly called Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine) in Philadelphia, PA and completing a rigorous residency, Dr. Tsyganova immediately opened her own practice, Foot and Ankle Center, in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
Dr. Irina chose podiatry because she enjoys developing lasting relationships with her patients. Her fluency in English, Russian, and Spanish is very beneficial in helping her to connect with many patients in her community. Dr. Irina also thrives on the challenges of entrepreneurship. She delivers the best care to her patients by utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and staying on top of the most advanced techniques in the field of podiatry.
As both a podiatric physician and surgeon, Dr. Irina is affiliated with several Atlantic County hospitals including Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, and Access Surgery Center in Egg Harbor Township.
Dr. Irina currently resides in Linwood, NJ. She is happily married to her husband Dr. Igor Tsyganov for over 35 years and has two sons. She enjoys spending long weekends with her granddaughter in sunny Florida. When she is away from the office, she loves to spend time with her family, and enjoys traveling, learning languages, and walking on the beach.
Christopher T. Garbowski, DPM
Christopher T. Garbowski, DPM is a podiatric physician and surgeon from Williamstown, NJ. He attended Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ where he received his undergraduate degree. He then went on to study at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia and graduated with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2012. Dr. Garbowski’s postgraduate training included a 3-year podiatric medicine and surgical residency—including a reconstructive rearfoot and ankle credential—at Kennedy University Hospital (now Jefferson Hospital) in the Philadelphia metro area. In his final year of residency, Dr. Garbowski served as Chief Resident of Podiatry.
Dr. Garbowski stays current with the latest medical and surgical advancements and techniques to provide his patients with the highest quality of care available. He believes in exhausting conservative treatments before opting for any surgical procedure. He is affiliated with both the Shore Memorial Center, and Access Surgery Center in Atlantic County.
Dr. Garbowski, or “Dr. G”, is known to be compassionate and sympathetic, and eager to help his patients in any way he can.
